My Everyday Face

Hello, all!
Today I've decided to share with you what I look like on a typical day. That is, if I wear makeup!  I don't really have a regular routine, since I have a love/hate relationship with makeup.  There are weeks where I go makeup free, and other weeks where I paint my face every single day.  Let's get started!

Me, makeup free
 1. The very first thing I do is wash/exfoliate/moisturize.

2.  Next, I mix my two shades of BB cream together, to create my custom shade.  I prefer to use my fingers to apply it.  Then, I apply the concealer just under my eyes for an every day look. The triangle effect is used for when I'm all glam. I also use my fingers to apply this, dabbing gently.  Finally, I sweep a mineral powder foundation on my T-zone with a face brush.  To even it all out, I use a kabuki brush in circular motions.
 3.  Eyeshadow is my least favorite step. I'm not a big fan of it, but will do it most of the time.  I applied the lighter shade on the inner 1/3 of the eyelid, then the darker on the outer half and up into the crease. Next, I apply a thin line of black eyeliner on my top lid. I don't really have the eye for a cat eye or winged eyeliner.  White eyeliner on the waterline helps to open up the eye.  Finally, I curl my lashes and apply 2-3 coats of mascara. Although, I don't think it does any good, since my lashes are so short.

 4. Sometimes I apply bronzer, but mostly, I stick with blush. One side of my face has a patch of freckles that kind of make it difficult to apply the blush there. So, I sweep the blush from the apples of my cheeks back to the tops of my ears. On the freckled area, I have to apply a little more.

5.  Finally, lip color. There are times where just a slightly hued balm will do. Then, there are times when I feel like a bold lip gives me super confidence.  Mostly though, I stick to something subtle.

Well, that's about it! No fuss, no glamour, just plain old every day makeup.
